We started our journey in farming to provide ourselves with a sustainable way of life and to teach our children the value of hard work and taking care of your own needs. We prefer to raise as much of our own food as possible, whether that be vegetables or protein. This is our way of removing our support of factory farming and ensuring the food we put Into our bodies and our children’s bodies is as healthy as possible. When you raise your own food you are in control of everything from birth to butcher and can ensure the animal had the best life possible and was loved, respected and fed well, without a lot of extra meds or unnecessary additives.

We have been raising heritage bred chickens, breeding goats for milk and practicing a self sustainable lifestyle since 2014. It’s only been in the last couple years that we really narrowed down our focus onto a couple heritage bred chicken breeding groups, some waterfowl and Registered Nubian goats. We are excited to be able to provide great dual purpose birds and goats that look good in a show ring, but put the milk in the pail too!
